With eight years of dedicated experience as a dually qualified dental hygienist and therapist, Anwar has served both the private and NHS sectors since 2015.
His commitment to excellence was exemplified during his undergraduate studies, where he earned the Steelhouse Prize for achieving the highest mark in Dental Radiography.
Creating a welcoming environment for patients is a cornerstone of Anwar’s practice. He excels in reassuring anxious patients, utilising skills acquired from the SAAD Sedation course to ensure they feel comfortable and secure. Anwar is passionate about tackling complex periodontal cases and guiding patients toward improved oral health habits.
Continued education has been a significant aspect of Anwar’s professional development. He has completed a PgCert in Dental Law & Ethics, gaining a deeper understanding of ethical treatment practices. Numerous periodontal and restorative courses, including the Totally Composite Course by Monik Vasant, have further enhanced his clinical expertise. Additionally, he has undertaken tooth whitening courses and was honoured with the “Hygienist of the Year” award in 2023.
Beyond his professional life, Anwar is an avid squash and badminton player. He enjoys travelling with his wife and cherishes quality time with friends and family.
