On your first visit, a complete medical and dental history will be taken with a detailed enquiry into your individual needs. We will usually also take some X-rays of your teeth as this help diagnose early issues that might otherwise go unnoticed.
Your teeth, gums, and smile will be examined carefully at every visit. Plaque and harmful tartar can be removed at a hygiene appointment at the same time as your check-up, just let us know when booking your appointment that that is what you wish to do. The health of the cheeks, lips, and tongue are checked for early signs of disease. Mouth cancer screening is also carried out.
